Jessica Menz-Crenshaw: Owner/Senior Stylist
Jessie completed an apprenticeship program in Richmond and went on to become the program educator at one of the top salons in the Richmond area. She also has spent time training in such places as Italy, Florida, New York, and California. She opened La Bella Hair Studio in March 2006 and has gone on to become very involved in the community and in fund raising for such causes as Veronica’s Voice Fund and Locks of Love.
Nancy Carlisle: Stylist
Nancy joined the La Bella team in November 2006 after completing exceptional training with a well know Southside salon. She has worked in the salon industry for six years and has received extensive training from Vidal Sassoon, Nick Arrojo, Martin Parsons, Graham Webb, Aveda, and Swartzkopf. Nancy specializes in cutting and texturizing techniques and is great at personalizing a style that fits into your individual everyday life. She also enjoys creating special occasion looks with make-up and detailed up-dos.
Jessica Guichard: Stylist
Jessica has worked in the salon industry for over six years, and found her home at La Bella in August 2008. She received extensive training through high-end salons in Richmond. Jessica specializes in unisex haircuts, razor cuts, and curly hairstyling. She focuses on dimensional hair coloring for both men and women, and has received training from Redken, Goldwell, and more. Jessica looks forward to working with her pervious clientele, as well as new clients.
Chelsea Bains: Apprentice
Chelsea has had a long term interest in both the beauty and fashion industry and she has begun her journey into her career as a cosmetologist. She is receiving extensive training from the mentoring staff at La Bella Hair Studio. Chelsea is excited about learning new techniques; she hopes to help clients achieve their desired look with professionalism and creativity. Chelsea is currently developing her skills, and will obtain her cosmetology license in fall 2009. At this time, she is providing waxing, makeup, and styling services.
